INET Makes It Simple To Field Your Most Complex Study

INET streamlines research with INET online data collection services. INET has a very unique and highly rigorous project delivery approach which gains international recognition in peer reviewed journals and conferences. Because of this, INET makes it very simple to deliver your most complex study at the most competitive price and in the shortest amount of time.  To deliver online data collection projects, INET programs, hosts and provisions online sample with expertise in:

Furthermore, to gain a wider acceptance of INET delivery capabilities, INET is collaborating with CMMT to refine and validate a Wi-INET model. The Center for the Management of Medical Technology (CMMT) is the IIT/Stuart center for research, education, and outreach and dissemination to the community at large. It is directed by Professors Elie Geisler and Nilmini Wickramasinghe.

You can also find INET's latest project delivery advancements and achievements published in a book: “Unwired Business: Cases in Mobile Business,”2006, Stuart J. Barnes , Eusebio Scornavacca, editors.

For the most complex research studies, INET offers advanced services:

  1. We provide clients with the best possible online panels available to ensure sample targets are met within budget and on time. Typically, more than one panel is required for global research or low incidence healthcare, consumer or B2B studies. To field these studies INET quickly accesses and selects from its inventory of local and international sample vendors to assemble a seamless online sample solution.

  2. We integrate different respondent recruitment methodologies. INET International healthcare studies are a good example where different methodologies are applied to put together a unified sample solution; In the US there are many good online physician panels. As well, in UK and Germany they have excellent sources of online sample with physician counts of excess of 20,000/country. However outside of these examples online sample may vary significantly. For instance, when the study needs to reach physicians in Mexico and some parts of  Asia telephone recruitment and interviewing is employed and then entered into the online survey. In Canada, the sample may include a combination of methods such as qualified e-mails, telephone recruit and groups that have long-term, proven, and trusted relationship with physicians. Also, with healthcare in the US, low incidence targets may create online sample gaps. As an option, these gaps can be filled using mail or telephone recruitment methods.

  3. We employ the right combination of technology resources for an online study. To field an online study INET employs different levels of developers; from programmers using Java development platforms for custom coding to programmers that use survey platforms to easily cut and paste surveys MS word documents into predefined questions (INET refers to this skill level as Specifiers.) Today, survey platforms offer a hybrid solution combining the capability of custom programming with specifying. In addition to these platforms; there is also a subgroup made up of technology component players. These components can easily integrate and enhance a survey platform. For example, programmers that know how to work with video streaming / publication products to securely present pictures, documents (i.e. for concepts), video clips (i.e. Ads) in an online survey and integrate adaptive or discreet conjoint modules (.i.e. Sawtooth)

  4. Several other INET advanced delivery capabilities include:

    • Custom programming to build or integrate conjoint modules, deliver segmentations, record the successful download of software for respondent evaluations, and 3D animation.

    • Methods to integrate multiple data collection projects, such as, in the case when a researcher wishes to use both telephone interviewing and online self administrative surveys.

    • Increase use of technology standards, such as XML to pass data from one survey application component to another.

    • Using the latest privacy and security standards. As in INET’s Healthcare programs, determine if the survey’s need to follow HIPAA or an ethics review.

    • Prevent duplicate survey completions from the same respondent using technology, analysis of the panels sample recruitment methodologies and by continuing working with third party organization specializing in developing validation solutions.

INET Sample Solutions for Online Healthcare Studies:

  • INET selects vendors that can verify online sample sources via physician-supplied registration through Medical Education (ME) #, association directory listings and/or have a proven trusted relationship with the sample source. For this later option, INET evaluates the level of relationship between the sample provider and their members.  For instance, in Canada where ME type numbers are not available on a national basis, INET may look to medical software providers. INET selects providers that offer software specifically designed for a clinical setting and frequently used by physicians.  INET discovers and engages these highly intellectual sharing relationships to offer an excellent source of sample solutions.

  • INET takes privacy to the next level.  Using INET’s extensive experience in healthcare, clinical trial privacy protocols are repurposed for healthcare market research and used to field INET studies.

INET Technology Vendor Selection Criteria:

  • INET uses survey programming tools base on the capability of fielding multiple online panel methods; support, at a minimum, all standard survey question types including single and multi selects, grid and 3-dimensional grid questions, open text/verbatim, and numeric entry; and able to securely integrate video/audio clips and other embedded technology objects.

  • INET incorporates hosting environments based on using fully redundant technical platforms, hosted in a state-of-the-art data center and capable of handling over 50,000 surveys per hour. INET also assures these platforms are secure, and when required can conduct a HIPAA compliant audit.
